An offsite commercial testing location is a part-time site used by some driver examiners to test applicants pursuing commercial (Class A, B, C, D, E, F, or Z) driver’s licences. These locations are established for some DriveTest Centre operations to provide adequate space to meet the requirements for testing drivers of larger, louder vehicles according to MTO criteria.

Offsite Commercial Testing Locations for DriveTest
Offsite commercial testing locations are usually found within a few kilometres of a DriveTest Centre. These sites are often unmarked and have no amenities except for equipment and space to conduct the test. Uniformed driver examiners travel from a DriveTest Centre to meet commercial road test applicants at the offsite location only at scheduled appointment times.
Please allow adequate time for check-in and transfer to the offsite location prior to your commercial road test, as necessary.
Note:
Not all DriveTest Centres use offsite commercial testing locations. Unless otherwise specified in the table below, your test will be conducted at a regular DriveTest Centre.
