Most DriveTest Centres are open full time from Monday to Friday (or Monday to Saturday), with others open on a part-time basis as travel points. Travel points are pop-up DriveTest Centres designed to offer service periodically to a smaller community from a shared, locally well-known facility, such as a community centre or town hall.

Holidays and Operating Hours
In early 2019, DriveTest undertook a review of the hours of operation and customer demand for all locations across Ontario. As a result, the hours of operation at select DriveTest Centres were modified to better align with customer needs. In some cases, DriveTest Centres will be operating on a seasonal schedule while other locations have experienced a permanent change in operating hours to focus resources where they are needed most.
