Appointments to exchange your driver’s licence from another province or country are available at the following sites. To receive guaranteed service, you must schedule a licence exchange appointment at these locations.

Our Peterborough DriveTest Centre is relocating!
Effective August 19, 2024, the Peterborough DriveTest Centre is relocating to 724 Lansdowne St W, Peterborough, ON, K9J 1Z2. Also, effective August 19, 2024, commercial road tests (A, B, C, D, E, F, Z) will be conducted from an adjacent offsite testing location at 873-A High St, Peterborough, ON K9J 5R1 (Printhub.ink rear parking lot).
Our hours of operation, phone number, and scheduled appointments remain the same. If you have a road test appointment scheduled on or after August 19, 2024, it will take place on the same date and time, at the new location.
Did you know?
Starting May 31, 2024, DriveTest is offering scheduled appointments for all services at the Collingwood and Elliot Lake Travel Points from July 2, 2024, onwards. Between May 31 and July 2, services will continue to be offered on a walk-in basis.
PLEASE NOTE, effective July 2, 2024, all services at the Collingwood Travel Point location will be available by appointment only.
We are offering scheduled appointments for out-of-province licence exchanges and foreign licence applications at 15 locations. Service may be available on standby but wait times may be extended. We strongly encourage you to book an appointment.
The Casselman Travel Point is relocating!
Effective February 1, the Casselman Travel Point will be relocating to the Paul-Émile Lévesque Centre, at 756 Brébeuf St, Casselman, ON K0A 1M0.
Our hours of operation, phone number, and scheduled appointments remain the same. If you have a road test appointment scheduled on or after February 1, 2024, it will take place on the same date and time, at the new location.
New Offsite Testing Location!
The Red Lake Travel Point has secured a new commercial motor vehicle offsite testing location for class A road tests!
Effective July 4, 2023, the Red Lake Travel Point will conduct class A road tests in the parking lot of Aiken Red Lake Storage located at 279 Hwy 105, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0. All other commercial class road tests will continue to be offered at the Red Lake Travel Point location.
Our Sault Ste. Marie DriveTest Centre has a New Commercial and M2 Offsite Testing Location!
Effective June 15, 2023, the Sault Ste Marie DriveTest Centre will conduct all commercial class road tests (A, B, C, D, E, F and Z) and all M2 road tests (M2, LM2, PM2) at our new offsite testing location in the parking lot of the Motel 6 at 503 Trunk Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A 3T1.
New Offsite Testing Location!
The Burlington DriveTest Centre has secured a new commercial motor vehicle offsite testing location to increase commercial road test availability in the Burlington area!
Effective January 3, 2023, the Burlington DriveTest Centre will conduct commercial road tests from two locations. Commercial class road tests will be administered at the DriveTest Centre’s existing location at 1250 Brant St, Unit 2, Burlington, ON L7P 1X8, and from the new offsite location at 3470-3472 Landmark Rd, Burlington, ON L7M 1S8.
New Hours of Operation for Inside Services in Brampton!
Effective December 3, 2022, the Brampton DriveTest Centre will begin offering new expanded hours of operation for inside services:
• 7AM to 7PM Monday to Friday
• 7AM to 5PM Saturday and Sunday
There will be no change to hours of operation for road test appointments.

Important Notice Regarding a Change to the Road Test Booking System
DriveTest introduced a change to ensure that the booking system provides fair access to all who need to take a road test. Prior to canceling any road test, you should ensure that you are unable to attend your road appointment, as all cancellations are final. When you cancel the road test you will have to book a new date and/or time for your road test.
